Soaking of the Raisin

Take a medium-sized mixing bowl and pour the mentioned quantity of rum into it. This soaking of the raisins is the very first step in Bread pudding. Let the raisins soak in the rum for 1-2 hours at least.

Preparing the Mixture

Take another mixing bowl and pour milk into it. Add some sugar and mix well to dissolve the sugar in the milk. Pour into the vanilla extract. Add a small quantity of cinnamon and nutmeg to this mixture. In the end, add the egg and allspice. Mix everything well to combine.

Preparing the Cubed Bread

Put the cubed bread in the greased pan and pour all the milk mixture over the bread. Also, add the soaked raisins into the pan at the same time. Use the spatula to toss your bread. You have to make sure that everything is well combined. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes.
