Steps to Make the LA MADELEINE’S Tomato Basil Soup

Tomato basil soup is prepared through multiple recipes but this recipe is the most versatile one and will provide you with the most delicious results ever like Turnip green soup.

Preheating the Oven

First of all, preheat your oven and keep the temperature to 350 degrees for preheating. Also, prepare the baking pan at the same time by greasing it with butter or using a cooking spray.

Assembling the Tomatoes

Put the tomatoes in the prepared baking pan and then pour olive oil over these tomatoes. Shower some salt and pepper on the tomatoes according to your taste. Pour the vegetable broth and also add some vinegar. Add the thyme leaves in the end. Let the mixture simmer again for 18-20 minutes.

Blending the Soup

After air cooling for some time, bring the vegetable mixture and add it to an electric blender. Blend at high speed to make a smooth soup mixture. Add some more basil before blending. Heat the soup again after blending.

Serving the Soup

Transfer the soup to a serving bowl and top it with more fresh basil leaves. Serve the soup with bread to have a complete meal.
