Preparing the Cucumber and Onion Mixture

Bring a large-sized steel bowl and add the cucumbers and sliced onions to it. Bring the pickling salt and sprinkle it on top of the cucumber mixture. Pour the cold water into the same bowl and make sure that the top of the cucumbers are covered. You can cover the top with a plate so that the cucumbers will be covered in water properly.

Soaking of the Cucumbers

Let the cucumbers soak in water for a longer time for one to two hours. For this purpose, you can put a weight on the top of the plate for proper soaking and dipping. If you have plenty of time, then you can keep the mixture overnight in your fridge.
