For sponge topping:

  • 2 tablespoons of corn flour
  • A pack of 530 grams of strong self-rising bread flour
  • 20 grams of fresh, cold  yeast

For making the dough :

  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1 ½ cup of cold milk

  • A pinch of regular salt
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

A step-by-step strategy to make the Partially Baked Bread Platter:

 1:

  • Take a large-sized bowl and wash it very well. Then add your all-purpose flour and fats. Rub both of them gently, until it feels like grainy breadcrumbs. 
  • Also, put the yeast, kosher salt, and castor sugar. And mix all of them properly with the help of a mixing spoon.

2:

  • Pick a small-sized saucepan and place it on a stove. Pour the lukewarm milk and water to pan. Heat them at low flame for 4 to 5 minutes only. You just have to warm them not boil.

  • Slice the dough into 8 to 10 equal portions. And roll each chunk with your hands to create a ball shape. 

 5:

  • Again cover the shaped rolls with a semi-wet tea towel or laminated plastic sheet. And wait to increase their size twice times for an hour. 

 6:

  • On the other side, activate your microwave oven. And preheat it to 230 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 to 5 minutes just.
  • Sprinkle the oil spray on baking tray to grease it a bit little. It is compulsory to prevent the balls from sticking to it. Bake the balls for 2 to 3 minutes, until they come in a golden brown shade.
