Preparing the Vegetables

Wash all the vegetables under the tap running water. Drain all the excess water and pat dry them using the paper towels. Mince the fresh garlic.

Chopping the Vegetables

First, you have to chop all the vegetables one by one. Finely dice the onions and then chop the carrots into smaller cubes. In the next step, you have to dice the leeks. Last but not least, you must chop the celery. Slice the potatoes into the smaller cubes as well.
